Chaotic Christmas Day 28

Chaotic Christmas
Day 28

In today's society our children don't really know what it is like to "want" for things and really be THANKFUL!  I don't mean that they don't say "please" and "thank you" but to really KNOW what to be THANKFUL for!!  I mean things that they take for granted every day...food, clothes, heat/AC, a car, etc!!
With Thanksgiving fast approaching, I wanted to really start teaching our kids exactly what they should be thankful for and show them just how fortunate they really are!  I want my kids to learn the ART of APPRECIATION!!!
I had seen a really neat idea on a really cute blog simplyvintagegirl and decided to show our family the true meaning of the  THANKSGIVING season!!!
I made these by cutting the branches off of a dead tree and putting them in a mason jar!!  I then used my cricut to cut out some leaves and hung them on the branches!!!

Tonight we sat and asked our kids what they are THANKFUL for and Nathaniel said to me "for Loving You!!!!"
MC said she was THANKFUL for "you giving me candy and finding my doll magazine...and I love you!"

Gotta love the babies!!!  We will be doing a lot of teaching this month!!!
Come join us and let me know what your family is saying!!!

See you tomorrow for
DAY 29!!!
