It is hard to believe that OREO cookies turned 100 today!! That means that my grandfather was not even born when they created the Oreo cookie!!

So in honor of their birthday, I have made an AWESOME dessert!! I hope that you enjoy it as much as we will!!
Oreo 4 Layer Delight!!!
1 whole pkg Oreos
6 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip, thawed
3 c. cold milk
2 pkg. instant Jell-O pudding 1 Chocolate and 1 Vanilla
1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip, thawed
3 c. cold milk
2 pkg. instant Jell-O pudding 1 Chocolate and 1 Vanilla
Mix crushed cookies and butter in medium bowl. Press firmly onto bottom of 9″ x 13″ baking dish. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 2 Tbsp. milk in medium until blended. Spread over crust.
Pour 3 c. milk into bowl. Add both pudding mixes. Beat until thick. Pour over cream cheese layer. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread Cool Whip over pudding and spread. Sprinkle more crushed Oreos Refrigerate at least 4 hours!!

ReplyDeleteI had no idea that Oreo cookies are so old :) Thanks for the recipe. It should be pretty easy to make. I'll bookmark it and make this dessert when our daughter comes to visit in April! By the way, I love your dessert recipes: they always look so delicious.
