Today I am featuring a friend of mine, ShellyCowley!!!  She has come up with a BRILLIANT idea that I will be implementing STARTING 2012!!!  Here is what she has to say!!!

"Hey Randee!  Here are a few pics of some of my Halloween scrapbook pages.  When I started scrapbooking I was extremely overwhelmed!  There are so many papers, stickers, embellishments, etc to choose from that you can end up just standing in the scrapbooking section drooling.  I also found that I would get home with a bunch of random pieces that didn't really go together.  So I decided to start scrapping with picking an annual event and just focusing on that.  I have Halloween and Christmas.  I only keep Halloween and Christmas pages in each book.  I really enjoy getting it out every year and laughing over the crazy costumes of the past and how much the kids have changed."

I REALLY feel this way since I had Nathaniel!!!  I am just so overwhelmed!!!  2012 I am going to start yearly DIGITAL PHOTO ALBUMS and then scrapbook HALLOWEEN and CHRISTMAS!!!!

WOW....once again I can not believe that we have been doing this for 55 DAYS!!!!!

Today's craft involves a past craft and a new one!!!  Last night my house was a LITTLE CHAOTIC and my kitchen was torn to pieces with snow flakes and berries all over the place....kids running in circles screaming at the top of their lungs...and there I stand CRAFTING!!!!!!  TOTALLY tuning it all out!!!  It is like I go to a different world when I am making something!!!

Ok!!!  You will need an old vase, Christmas sock, tape, greenery and long sticks if you like!!

I KNOW you were wondering "WHY??" we needed a sock!!!  WELLL....you can transform ANY old vase into a MAGICAL, CUTE vase!!!

Take a Christmas Sock (can use different socks for different occasions) and cut the tip off of it!!

Slide it down over the vase!!!  I turned the vase over and slid it from the bottom!!!

I then spray painted my "STICKS!!!!"  I made mine red, green, and white!!!!!

THEN I used my "trick" from Day 53 so go here

DAY 53 for a complete tutorial!!!  Then start placing your sticks!!  After that I made my clumps of ornaments from DAY 51 and the tutorial can be found here

Isn't it AWESOME!!!!!  I keep moving it around and can't decide where I like it the best!!!!

Day 54!!!

Ok....I have been a CRAFTING FOOL today!!  I have several AWESOME things coming up this week!!!  I also have a good friend who is going to show us her "trick" for scrapbooking later in the week!!!!! 

CAN'T WAIT!!!! 

Today I made the CUTEST snowglobe EVER!!!!!!!  I KNOW that these have been ALL OVER the web and Pinterest BUT I wanted to make one for MC!!  She LOVES snowglobes!!!  So it is not your traditional snowglobe!!!  She is all about PINK!!!

ANNNNDDDD....It is SUPER DUPER EASY!!

Here are 2 other views!!!

Start with a regular LARGE mouth mason jar!

I spray painted the lid white, inside and out!! I spray painted mine in the kitchen, on the kitchen cabinet!!!  NOT recommended by Todd!!!  He gets SOOOO mad when I do this!!!  ;)  But it is COLD outside!!!! 

Take a small Christmas tree and hot glue it to the lid!!

I hot glued a bead to the top for a tree topper!!

Then I added the snow and pink flakes!!

This is what happens when you think that

MORE IS BETTER!!!!!!  LOL!!!

I had to take "just a LITTLE bit" out!!!

Then I decided to add some trim around the edge to make it cuter!!!

And a little ball of the beads to the top!!!

She was SOOOOOO EXCITED when she came in from school!!!  She LOVES IT!!! 

So, I know that it has been done but I wanted to make one just for her!!!  If you haven't seen it, I hope this tutorial helps you!!  ;0
