Happy Thanksgiving...GOBBLE, GOBBLE!!!

Today we are very fortunate to be with family!!! I am thankful that my family is all happy and healthy this year!!!  Take time to count your blessings but also remember to take time and say a prayer for our troops!!!  They are not able to spend time with there families because they are doing there job to serve and protect so we can be at home with our families!!!

Today I am posting one of our family's FAVORITE dishes that my mom makes EVERY Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!

Broccoli and Rice Casserole

2 Cups Instant Rice, cooked

2 Boxes Frozen Broccoli, cooked

1 Can Cream of Mushroom

1 Can Cream of Chicken

8 oz Cheese Whiz

1 stick of Butter

1 Medium Onion

6-10 Fresh Mushrooms

In saucepan saute butter, onions and mushrooms until tender!!!  Add cream of mushroom, cream of chicken and cheese whiz!!  Cook until mixed together real good!!  In a large casserole dish, add all ingredients including the rice and broccoli!!

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes!!!
